Our client, a world-renowned brand, is recruiting for an experienced Corporate Events Manager to oversee operations within the corporate events team.
In this dynamic role, you'll be responsible for the operational delivery of all onsite corporate conferences, MICE, and events, working closely with the Duty and Events Manager to deliver outstanding experiences. You will apply your industry expertise to ensure each event meets client expectations, runs efficiently, and aligns with company procedures, all while staying within budget and profit targets.
You must have your own transport to travel to the property.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as the primary point of contact for clients during pre-event planning and throughout the event, ensuring their expectations are met.
2. Lead and oversee the front-of-house team, ensuring high service standards and holding regular team meetings to keep them informed on business objectives and upcoming projects.
3. Collaborate with management to strategically plan staffing levels, ensuring alignment with budget and operational requirements.
4. Work closely with the kitchen team to facilitate smooth service delivery, meeting both customer and company expectations within scope and budget.
5. Manage the procurement and timely installation of event equipment, identifying shortages and placing orders as needed.
6. Regularly review and update company policies and procedures to maintain high standards and compliance.
7. Maintain accurate records of event details and assist with financial reporting, providing monthly updates.
What They’re Looking For:
1. At least three years of experience in conference and banqueting, hospitality, or events.
2. Strong awareness of customer service and client expectations.
3. A confident and articulate communicator.
4. Impeccable personal presentation.
5. Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
6. Knowledge of food safety, COSHH, and HACCP (qualifications in these areas would be a plus).
7. A flexible approach to working hours.
8. A proactive mindset with problem-solving abilities.
