We are currently looking for a highly-motivated and energetic Air Compliance and Permitting Engineer. toservice the air permitting and compliance needs of our industrial and institutional clients.

Your new role
The ideal candidate in this role will possess the technical skills required to lead and execute complex air compliance projects, the business development skills to develop new clients and project opportunities, and the interpersonal and communication skills to enhance existing client and regulator relationships.
Your key responsibilities will be:
* Preparing federal and state air permit application materials
* Preparing and quantifying emissions estimates, including emission calculation spreadsheets and databases for stationary and mobile sources
* Preparing and assisting with the submission of Tier II and Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) reports complying with the Emergency Planning Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA)
* Conduct air permitting/compliance regulatory reviews
* Prepare plans, reports, permit applications, and other project documents; lead technical evaluations of data commensurate with experience
* Use prescribed and established methods to perform specific environmental engineering and scientific assignments
* Provide regular and consistent communications to clients, regulators, and project staff on key issues and developments
* Gain and share knowledge through participation in technical societies and/or attendance at internal and external programs, to a degree consistent with individual and divisional goals
* Be a leader in Ramboll’s safety culture, ensuring that our employees work safely
* Engage with other senior practitioners within Ramboll to advance our brands (energy, water, environment, and health) and standing with external stakeholders

About you

These include:
* B.S. in Environmental Engineering or Chemical Engineering, minimally, with an Environmental Consultant background.
* 8-15years of experience, with preference in the environmental consulting field.
* Ideal candidate has knowledge and experience in air regulatory compliance, permitting, and dispersion modeling, etc. Other environmental compliance experiences will beconsidered.
* Highly motivated, team-oriented individual to work in a fast-paced environment, with the desire and skills to provide client, project, and staff management functions.
* Excellent written/verbal communication skills are required.
* Occasional local travel (5-10%), as required.

At Ramboll, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role is likely to be compensated at an annualbase salary between $91,000 and $103,000. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range, depending on numerous factors, includingexperience, geographical location, internal equity, market conditions, education/training andskill level, and does not include bonuses, overtime, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
