Teacher - Humanities Chaselea Alternative Provision Academy Chaselea Alternative Provision Academy are advertising for a stand-out candidate to join our staff as fixed-term cover for six months. Ideally we are looking for someone who can cover for humanities, RE and philosophy – not being trained to teach these subject areas should not be seen as a barrier to application and interest. There may be the opportunity to extend this appointment beyond July 2025. We are looking for the right person – someone who understands the needs of SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) pupils and someone who can provide support in the care and learning of our pupils. We look for the right person – this could be an ECT, an experienced teacher with QTS and UPS, or even an unqualified teacher. Although we are a secondary provision, the right person could be primary trained – we have a number of primary trained teachers on our staff. It is the right person we are after, to join our staff family and help create opportunities for the most vulnerable and complex young people.
