We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified Registered Pharmacy Technician for a Homecare and High Cost Drugs Technician role.
We are keen to develop the roles of our technical staff and to support their training and progression. This is an exciting opportunity to learn new skills in a specialised area of pharmacy in order to expand your knowledge and experience within your pharmacy technician role.
Your role will include assisting in the development, provision, and maintenance of safe, efficient, and professional homecare services at Bury, Rochdale, and Oldham (BRO), part of the Northern Care Alliance, in line with national standards, guidelines, local policy, and procedures.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with good communication and teamwork skills. If you are able to work under pressure and keen to develop yourself, we would like to hear from you.
As a self-motivated and enthusiastic professional, you must have a BTEC National Certificate in Pharmacy Services and NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Services or equivalent recognised qualification and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council. Possession of the BTEC Professional Development Certificate in Dispensing Technician Checking is preferable.
There will be a requirement to participate in extended working hours, including late nights, weekends, and bank holidays on a rotational basis.
