Responsibilities:
As a Cleaning Assistant, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that all areas are spotless and inviting. Your duties will include:
1. Performing thorough cleaning duties.
2. Damp dusting all furniture and fixtures, including radiators and ledges.
3. Replenishing all toilet requisites; hand towels, rubbish sacks, etc.
4. Cleaning W.C.s to the highest standards.
5. Following COSHH regulations for safe handling of cleaning products.
6. Reporting any maintenance issues to the supervisor.
7. Collecting and bagging up refuse and delivering to bin areas.
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
1. Previous cleaning experience.
2. Knowledge of COSHH regulations.
3. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
4. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
5. Excellent time management skills.
6. You will be required to travel up to 40 minutes to different locations around Wolverhampton either by car or public transport.
7. You will be asked to provide references, and these will need to be contactable.
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
1. Experience in a similar role within a professional setting, for example, offices, schools, cafes, etc.
2. Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
3. Ability to handle cleaning equipment and tools effectively.
4. Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals.
Technologies:
Familiarity with cleaning machinery and equipment.
