Experienced Health Care Assistant for a GP Surgery
Training will be provided in areas where applicable. This role is to ensure and carry out responsibility for best practice to be delivered. Must be able to do venepuncture.
The post holder will be responsible for performing general Health Care Assistant duties in a GP surgery, which may include:
1. Clinical duties
2. ECGs
3. Venepuncture
4. Peak Flows (for Asthma)
5. New Registration Checks
6. Wound Care
7. B12 Injections
8. Flu Injections
9. Shingle Injections
10. Spirometry (if trained)
11. Health and well-being
12. Diabetes
The candidate will be using System One. Must be flexible and work alongside and support clinical staff.
Hours: BETWEEN 30-35 HOURS PER WEEK
Pay: Starting from £13 PER HOUR - depending on experience
