Office Patient Administrator We are a leading private mental health service provider dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to our patients. Our team of professionals are committed to creating and a supporting and welcoming environment for our patients. We are seeking a highly organized and empathetic Office Patient Administrator to join our team at our Clinics in Headington and Garsington, Oxford. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients and will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our clinic. Key responsibilities: Communicate with patients or their parents to advise when their next appointment is due and assist with booking process Correspond with GPs or with external relations in the event of discharging a patient from the service Ensure patients have submitted physical observation readings ahead of consultations Ensure payments are made in advance of appointments Support in gathering missing information required in advance of an appointment Deliver quality communication and offer excellent patient experience Communicate effectively with appropriate members of the team Ensure complaints or incidents are reported promptly and sensitively Ensure accurate recording of patient prescriptions and secure posting or collection of them Cover reception, taking calls and payments including one Saturday per month Provide a warm welcome to patients and their families attending the clinic Other general administrative duties as required by the Practice Manager and Practice Supervisor Requirements: 2 Years administration experience Computer literate including, but not limited to, Outlook, MS Word and Excel Relevant experience linked to a clinical and or mental health environment. Excellent customer service skills Polite telephone manner Have patience and tolerance Attention to detail Well organised and able to prioritise, whilst flexible and adaptable Team player This role is a full-time position, located at the Oxford ADHD & Autism Centre (Headington and Garsington clinics).
