Position Overview: As the Counter Manager for Skin Design London at Harvey Nichols Leeds, you will be responsible for leading and managing the retail counter, ensuring an exceptional brand experience for our clients. Your role will focus on maximizing sales, providing expert skincare consultations, building a strong customer base, and upholding the luxury image of Skin Design London within a prestigious retail environment. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Performance: Drive and achieve sales targets by implementing and executing in-store strategies to meet and exceed sales goals. Motivate and inspire the team to reach individual and collective sales targets, ensuring high performance and client satisfaction. Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and report results to the Retail Manager or Area Manager. Work closely with Harvey Nichols to ensure alignment on promotional activities, stock management, and store initiatives. Customer Experience & Service: Provide personalized skincare consultations, demonstrating the benefits of Skin Design London products and services to clients. Ensure clients receive outstanding customer service, delivering a seamless, luxury experience from the moment they enter the counter to the point of purchase and beyond. Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business and customer loyalty. Resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly, maintaining a positive brand image. Team Leadership & Development: Lead, train, and develop a team of beauty advisors, ensuring they are knowledgeable about products, techniques, and brand values. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate objectives, new products, and promotions. Ensure the team is motivated, engaged, and aligned with Skin Design London's high standards of service. Merchandising & Stock Control: Maintain the presentation of the counter, ensuring that the display is clean, organized, and visually appealing, in line with brand standards. Manage stock levels and ensure that the counter is well-stocked, working with the retail management team to order products and keep track of inventory. Report on any stock discrepancies, product damage, or shortages. Brand Ambassadorship: Represent Skin Design London’s values and mission, promoting the brand's luxury image and commitment to skin transformation. Support marketing initiatives and events in-store, ensuring a consistent brand presence and driving sales through special promotions or launches. Engage with customers on social media or other platforms where applicable, enhancing brand visibility. Skills & Experience Required: Retail Management Experience : Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury retail environment, ideally in skincare, cosmetics, or beauty. Customer Service Excellence : Demonstrated experience in delivering outstanding customer service, with a focus on building relationships and exceeding customer expectations. Sales-Driven : Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs. Leadership Skills : Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team to perform at their best. Product Knowledge : Strong understanding of skincare products, ingredients, and their benefits.
