I am seeking a Temporary Area Operations Manager for a Leading Charity Retailer to support the Head of Retail with operational support.
This is a 3-month contract (possibility of perm).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Excellent communication skills and be the key link between stores.
2. Deliver KPI's and sales targets across the area.
3. Lead, motivate, and support a varied team across your area.
4. Ability to plan and organise effectively.
5. Strong interpersonal and people management skills.
6. Responsible for stores' rotas and budgets.
7. HR support for stores, including recruitment, training, and return to work interviews.
8. Support with new store openings.
9. Confident decision maker with problem-solving ability.
10. Analytical thinker who can analyse data to the best effect.
11. Local marketing to raise the profile of the charity.
12. Drive donations across the area.
13. Support with recruitment of volunteers.
14. Effective team leader and motivator.
You will be responsible for the smooth running of the stores, supporting the Head of Retail in operational and HR functions of the area.
