The BizApps Centre of Excellence (COE) is a key enabling function within the bank, promoting, accelerating, and governing the adoption and delivery of the Microsoft Business Applications platform. We are at the heart of our digital strategy and underpin many of our leading customer products and services. Responsible for safeguarding platform adoption, maintaining our governance controls and enforcing standards and best practice across our pro-dev and citizen-dev communities.
• Implementing our platform enablement and adoption strategy for the Power Platform across our pro-dev and cit-dev communities.
• Working collaboratively with SMEs from Microsoft, our 3rd party partners and from within the business to assess evergreen change for the Power Platform, identifying and impact assessing changes to key service components in-use and where applicable, supporting the testing and implementation ahead of general release. This includes the Microsoft Wave Releases and product specific updates.
• Supporting our Power Platform citizen development community of practice, leading the training and development of our makers and champion user community, facilitating our community engagement sessions, demonstrating capabilities and use cases, providing advice and guidance and generally maturing capability in this area.
• Conducting training sessions and workshops to upskill COE team members and end-users.
• Acting as a gatekeeper and safety-net for our Power Platform service, supporting COE leadership by proactively identifying risks and issues and intervening to prevent problems before they happen.
• Working with the team to document standards and best practices for adoption and implementation of Power Platform components and services, ensuring all documentation is accurate, consistent and up-to—date and in line with latest features and best-practice guidance from Microsoft.
In-depth knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio / PVA, Dataverse, Power BI, Customer Service, Sales, Customer Insights and SharePoint Online.
• Knowledge of the licensing and governance models for the Microsoft Power Platform and how to optimize the usage and cost of the platform.
• A creative and innovative mindset to impassion others.

• Knowledge and experience of Dynamics Digital Contact Center, Open AI and wider Microsoft ecosystem such as Azzure and M365.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
