Overview
Bulletproof is growing our Information Security consultancy team and is looking for an ISO27001 subject matter expert with experience of delivering consultancy around all the topics, including gap analysis, audits, implementation projects, and ad hoc Information Security queries, to a wide variety of customers.
You should have an excellent understanding of ISO27001, with knowledge of other Information Security standards and frameworks being advantageous, such as SOC 2 or PCI DSS. Responsibilities
1. Being a subject matter expert for ISO27001.
2. Project manage your own time effectively to maximize productivity and client delivery.
3. Delivery of Information Security services to a wide variety of customers.
4. Managing and supporting VCISO customers.
5. Conducting ISO27001 gap analyses/audits.
6. Conducting implementation projects on the above.
7. Supporting VCISO customers with ad-hoc advice and guidance.
8. Reviewing and writing client Information Security documentation.
9. Keeping careful logs of client interactions.
10. Delivery of Information Security awareness training and incident response tabletops to customers.
11. Supporting the Sales Team on scoping calls.
12. Support marketing activities where required, e.g., writing content.
13. Contribute to the development and improvement of the Bulletproof Information Security documentation set.
14. Recognize and manage upsell opportunities within existing customers.
15. Taking on various administration tasks.
16. Supporting the recruitment and development of new team members.
Skills Required
1. People management skills.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a good telephone manner.
3. Excellent knowledge of ISO27001 with a proven track history of managing projects in these areas with a range of different customers.
4. Strong research skills to be able to keep on top of changes in standards.
5. Knowledge of other international information security standards (desirable).
6. Customer management skills, particularly in relation to setting and managing customer expectations.
7. Ability to manage multiple client projects effectively.
8. Ability to assimilate information about customers quickly.
9. Ability to work autonomously with little supervision.
10. Good MS Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
11. Proof-reading/reviewing skills.
12. Exceptional tracking and recording skills (experience using Monday.com advantageous).
Required Qualifications / Experience
1. Minimum of 3 years' experience in an Information Security role handling ISO27001.
2. Qualifications that would be advantageous for this role include: ISO27001 Lead Implementor, ISO27001 Lead Auditor.
3. The candidate should have a project management qualification or extensive project management experience.
