About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Customs Classification Administrator to join our team at Lidl GB. As a key member of our Customs department, you will be responsible for classifying products and applying relevant import requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collecting detailed information from various sources to enable classification
* Accurate data entry
* Performing and reviewing classification and recording the basis for classification decision
* Investigating trade agreements, import requirements, and prohibitions & restrictions relating to classified products
* Supporting the buying and international teams to determine product qualifying requirements
* Improving and maintaining our classification log built from various internal data sources
* Creating process flow charts and info guides for team members and business stakeholders
* Communication with external and internal stakeholders
* Transferring technical Customs knowledge to operational business
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need prior experience in the Customs landscape, an understanding of Import and Export Customs procedures, and working Customs knowledge and experience of the UK Tariff Schedule.
