Planning & Procurement Manager At Gnaw Chocolate
At Gnaw, we make great quality, premium chocolate, have impeccable ethical sourcing & sustainability credentials and are in the process of launching a ton of fantastic product innovation.
We are very much in a growth phase of our brand journey and are looking for an experienced planning and procurement manager to join the team and ensure that our production plans and raw materials are optimised vs our forecast consumer demand.
If you have experience in planning factory output, check status and adjust the plan accordingly and have supreme control over the end to end planning function, then you have the right qualities to help drive us forward.
Tenacious, detailed, data oriented, inquisitive and highly organised will be words that describe your approach to planning. You will also manage procurement of packaging materials and ingredients, making sure that we have the right amount of stock in the system aligned to your production plan, whilst ensuring we are not over ordering to manage working capital and waste. You will be responsible for price negotiations with the supplier base and have a strong understanding of how to work in a partnership model that delivers competitive advantage.
You will need to be skilled in excel and either have working knowledge of Sage, or the ability to become a power user, as this is our main source of key information.
We are fast paced starter finishers, with a can do attitude to make things happen. We are in a growth phase, so if you can knuckle down, challenge the status quo and take ownership to personally drive projects to get things done with pace, then you could be the right fit for us.
We are on a journey. If you have the right drive, ambition and experience in planning and procurement within the FMCG food sector and want to be part of our journey, send us your CV for a follow up discussion.
