Position Overview:
As the Sales Director at PeopleGoal, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand our customer base. You will lead a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive their success. This role reports directly to the Board.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop Sales Strategy: Create and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with company objectives and market trends.
2. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, setting clear goals and expectations.
3. Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing customer relationships.
4. Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with key customers and prospects, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
5. Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities, providing insights to inform our sales strategy.
6. Sales Process Optimization: Continuously refine and improve the sales process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
2. Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with 5+ years of experience.
3. Strong leadership and team management skills.
4. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
5. Strategic thinking and a results-oriented mindset.
6. Familiarity with HR and talent management technology is a plus.
