We are looking for trainee Steel Erectors to join our client’s dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals who are already confident and skilled for working on-site, who wants to learn how to assemble and install steel structures.
Overall Job Purpose:
As a trainee Steel Erector, you will learn and develop skills for steel frame assembly, bracing, earthing, and ensuring that all components are correctly installed to meet project specifications. This position requires working away from home Monday to Friday, with all travel and accommodation expenses covered.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Learn to work alongside and assist fully trained steel erectors with the assembly and installation of steel structures in accordance with project plans and specifications.
Safely work at heights, adhering to health and safety protocols and site-specific risk assessments.
General labouring and moving materials around site on-site
Learn to successfully join and secure steel frameworks such as beams and columns through bolted connections and welding.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
Personal Qualities and Qualifications
Personal Specifications:
Proven experience of working with hand tools/power tools. Ex. Ratchets, drills, spanners, nut guns.
Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
Awareness of health and safety standards and commitment to safe practices on-site.
A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
Ability to undertake physically demanding work.
Comfortable working to instruction
Qualifications and Certification:
Valid CSCS card (Desired).
Relevant Experience will be considered in absence of qualifications.
Additional Information
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 10 hours/day, 45 hours/week (Door-to-Door Pay);
Optional Overtime
Location: Various UK Sites (Monday to Friday, working away required).
Remuneration: Competitive hourly pay ranging to £16.00, DOE
Probation: 6-month probationary period
