Founded in 2014, our school is part of the Aurora Academies Trust, and has approximately 400 students in primary and 600 in the secondary phase. The Role We wish to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support and inspire young minds. You will be joining a supportive team who place our values at the centre of all that we do with a commitment to raising pupil achievement and aspirations. We are looking for someone who: has experience working as part of a team is an effective communicator has obtained HLTA status or a qualification such as ELSA has previous experience in a similar role has the ability to create and maintain high-quality up to date records has the ability to remain calm and patient under pressure, whilst working to deadlines has a passion for working with and supporting children and/or young people The Hours Working hours: 37 per week Working pattern: 08:15 - 16:15 x 4 days per week, 08.15 - 15.45 x 1 day per week Working weeks: 39 weeks (term time only) Annual paid weeks: 44.85 The salary shown reflects an interim 2024/2025 pay award, pending completion of the negotiations between the National Employers and the Trade Unions. The difference between this and what is agreed as the final pay award will be paid as a lump sum back pay, when announced by the government and the Trade Unions.
