NuStaff are proud to bring to market this unique opportunity for a Quality and Health & Safety Manager with a renowned Manufacturing company based in Blackwood. As Quality, Health and Safety Manager you will be responsible for compliance and delivery of quality and health and safety across the entire site. The successful candidate will have experience of a similar role in a manufacturing environment. This is a newly created role within the business for a NEBOSH Qualified Professional to lead and maintain compliance with all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines and legislation.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Responsible for the attainment and compliance of relevant Quality and Health and safety accreditations such as ISO 9001 etc.
2. Completing and documenting internal risk assessments
3. To be responsible for accident and incident investigations and causes
4. Carry out internal Health and Safety and Quality internal audits and action any identified outstanding points
5. Responsible for maintaining and delivering the companies Quality Management system
6. Understanding customer specific needs and requirements to develop effective quality control in the manufacturing processes
7. Liaise with customers on any quality related issues
