The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an additional Partner to join our Inverness office due to our exciting growth plans. You would be joining a local office of 15 colleagues and working closely alongside an experienced and knowledgeable Office Partner. Your role would be centred around providing strong accounts & business advisory support to your local client base, as well as assisting in the overall leadership of the office.
Day to day duties
1. Assisting with leading a team of all levels, from trainee to director
2. Alongside the Office Partner, you will be responsible for the success of office, while managing client relationships, winning work and developing your team
3. Work closely with your clients to understand their business needs and ensure they are provided with a personal and tailored service for both day to day compliance and advisory aspects by both you and the team you lead
4. Manage your own portfolio
5. Pro-actively spot and develop opportunities for the Group and collaborating with other departments and/or offices as appropriate
6. Responsible for people management and direction linked to people strategy and the overall strategy of Group
7. Represent your office through proactive involvement in Group wide meetings
8. Look for continuous improvement within the office and across the Group
9. Complete own chargeable time budget and monitoring the teams
10. Monitor utilisation % budgeted and work towards delivering this
What are we looking for?
11. ACA/ACCA/CA or equivalent qualified and will possess a senior level experience and the ability to manage a large portfolio of clients, whilst leading a team
12. Ability to analyse complex business situations to identify key issues and priorities
13. Confident communicator
14. Ability to make decisions, solve problems and take appropriate action
15. Experience in an accounts and business advisory position, preferably with a varied commercial client base
16. This position could be suitable for someone currently working at Director level and looking to take the next step, or already working as a Partner but considering a new challenge
