The Role
:
As a Semi Senior Accountant, you'll prepare and review year-end accounts and manage accurate financial records, including reconciliations and ledgers.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage payroll and pension contributions, ensuring compliance with regulations.
2. Handle VAT returns, corporation tax returns, and personal tax returns.
3. Use accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks effectively.
4. Support senior accountants with audits, financial reporting, and ad hoc tasks.
5. Develop and sustain strong client relationships, offering professional advice.
6. Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and standards.
7. Aid in the training and development of junior staff members.
Requirements:
8. Previously worked as an Accountant or in a similar role.
9. Possess 3+ years of experience in an accountancy practice.
10. ACCA part-qualified and working towards full qualification.
11. Familiarity with year-end accounts preparation, bookkeeping, and payroll.
12. Skilled in Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks.
13. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
