At our Eminox site who designs and manufactures exhaust after-treatment systems, reducing emissions from heavy-duty vehicles and equipment, we now seek a Quality engineer customer concerns. This is a customer focused role to ensure that we get things right for our customers.
You will understand manufacturing processes either from, steel, automotive manufacturers or aerospace engineering.
Organised an and systematic, working through the processes, and step by step updated the customers of outcomes.
Working closely with manufacturing areas and the wider quality department to ensure that we are doing what we say we would.
Hours are : 7.30am to 4.30pm 3.30pm finish Friday onsite parking
we have a flexible working pattern above are the core hours
1. Liaise with customers to address and resolve quality concerns from external customers.
2. Lead investigations using the 8D methodology to solve customer issues.
3. Ensure customer issues are resolved within defined timelines.
4. Maintain up-to-date quality records and documentation.
5. Support and facilitate actions to prevent recurrence of issues
6. Travel to customer sites as needed to resolve concerns
7. Assist during customer visits and audits.
