A well-established veterinary practice in the Warwick district seeks passionate and skilled Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs) to join their dedicated team. About the Role:
* This role provides exposure to a diverse range of cases due to the highly skilled team of Veterinary Surgeons, many of whom hold advanced certificates. With minimal referrals, RVNs have the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of procedures and advanced nursing techniques, making this an ideal position for professional growth.
* The nursing team is equally experienced, with some members having dedicated over 35 years to the practice. Nurses are fully utilised across all areas, including consultations and Schedule 3 procedures, ensuring a fulfilling and varied workday.
* Special interests within the team include anaesthesia, emergency and critical care, client care, and behaviour, providing excellent opportunities for collaboration and development. Patient Care Assistants (PCAs) also support the team to ensure the highest standard of care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with a broad range of procedures and advanced nursing techniques
* Conduct nurse-led consultations and participate in Schedule 3 procedures
* Work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including certificate-holding vets and experienced RVNs
* Support and mentor colleagues, including Patient Care Assistants (PCAs)
* Participate in out-of-hours work, with options for nights or weekends
* Provide high standards of patient care and client communication
Work Schedule:
* Out-of-hours work on a relaxed 1:13 weekend and 1:10 nights rotation (additional hours paid)
* Weekends and nights are based at the Warwick hospital
