In this role, as the CAD Technician will collaborate with other departments in the company to design bespoke 3D sheet metal components using CAD software. You'll also work alongside the installation engineers and workshop teams to ensure that designs are properly implemented. The role offers exposure to the full design process, giving you the chance to develop your skills and knowledge further.
This role would suit a CAD Technician with experience in 3D sheet metal design who is looking for an engaging role at a forward-thinking company that offers opportunities to progress.
The Role:
* Designing bespoke components in 3D and 2D using software such as RADAN, RADBEND, or AutoCAD
* Working collaboratively with other departments to implement designs
* Creating detailed drawing packs for operators in the workshop
* Monday to Thursday, 8 am - 5:30 pm, with an early finish on Fridays
The Person:
* Experience as a CAD Technician or similar, with a background in sheet metal design
* Previous experience in a metal manufacturing environment
* Familiarity with 3D/2D design software
