What you'll do:
As a Finance Business Partner, your role will be pivotal in driving financial efficiency within the organisation. You will be responsible for preparing detailed weekly reports that highlight the cost and performance metrics of various company assets. Your keen eye for detail will enable you to prepare month-end journals accurately, ensuring the completeness of ledger consolidation. You will also play a crucial role in cost management by challenging existing costs and proposing initiatives for continuous improvement.
* Preparation of weekly reports
* Preparation of month-end journals, control sheets and checking the completeness of ledger/consolidation.
* Challenging costs and performance, with initiative and proposals put forward for continuous improvement.
* Reconciling purchase orders
* Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, improving the quality of control accounts and taking ownership reporting.
* Performing other ad hoc duties as and when required.
What you bring:
As our ideal candidate for the Finance Business Partner role, you bring a wealth of experience from previous roles within a financial team. You are part qualified (CIMA, ACCA OR AAT) or hold a degree in accounting. Your ability to work independently while seeking support when necessary sets you apart. You are confident in your communication skills, able to clearly explain complex processes to stakeholders at all levels. Your proficiency in accounting systems and Excel is essential for this role, as is your meticulous attention to detail. Above all, you are driven by a desire to understand the wider impact of your work and contribute meaningfully to the team.
