Agriculture Lecturer - Cornwall - £30,000 DOE
The Job:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Agriculture Lecturer to join a thriving College in Cornwall. The successful candidate will teach students on a range of subjects, including land-based machinery, estate skills, and land and habitat management. The role involves working closely with fellow educators to ensure high-quality practical, classroom, and online teaching experiences for their learners.
The Candidate:
1. A full teaching qualification (e.g., AET, DET, PGCE, Certificate of Education) or a willingness to achieve one within three years
2. A minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject area
3. Level 2 or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths (to be achieved within the first two years)
4. Practical experience with land-based machinery and estate skills, ideally in a commercial, academic, or vocational setting
5. A passion for education and a belief in the transformational power of learning
6. A positive, optimistic attitude towards teaching in the further education sector, with a commitment to continuing professional development
