ONE YMCA Charters Nursery, set in the beautiful grounds of Leavesden Country Park in Abbots Langley. We provide high quality nurseries catering for children aged from 3 months to 5 years and are committed to the overarching aim of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework that guides the work of all our Early Years Practitioners.
We are recruiting for a Billing & Accounts Coordinator to join our friendly team. The postholder will work alongside the Nursery Manager, managing / coordinating all tasks relating to nursery income.
The primary focus of the job is providing timely, efficient and high-quality coordination of billing and accounts and information support whilst ensuring a high quality, and discrete front-of-house service for all users. The post holder is expected to plan and prioritise their own workload and ensure all administration requirements run efficiently.
The key elements of the post are to:
* Work with Nursery Manager and ONE YMCA Finance Team in all areas relating to nursery income.
* Be the primary super user of the nursery IT software, currently ‘Connect Childcare’.
* Build and maintain strong communications with Nursery Management, ONE YMCA Finance Department, Parents, Funding Team at Hertfordshire County Council and IT software provider whilst at all times complying with data protection legislation and maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
* In line with GDPR guidance and legislation ensure that all parent and child personal and financial data is recorded accurately whether it be on Connect CRM system or in paper form and kept up to date and organised at all times.
* Prepare and submit to Hertfordshire County Council the 9 month, 2,3,4 year old Government funding applications, collecting all information required.
* Support parents through all processes, enrolment, means of payment and the Government funding.
* Work towards and achieve the nursery’s financial Key Performance Indicators and individual performance objectives and ensure a high level of service is provided at all times.
Requirements:
* IT literate with a good working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office, in particular Word, Excel and Outlook.
* Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and ability to draft and edit correspondence and other documents.
* High standard of numeracy in order to process accounts.
* Excellent attention to detail.
