Job Description Production Leader Full-Time, shift work On-site Derby What you will be doing: An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Production Leader to join our team at the Engine Overhaul Services (EOS) facility in Derby. The Engine Overhaul Services (EOS) facility is 35,000m2, with circa 650 employees, and operational for 20hrs a day, 365 days a year. As the only wholly owned Large Engine MRO facility, with capability to maintain all modern Trent engines, EOS is fundamental to the future success of Civil Aerospace. In this role, you will lead, inspire and coach a team within a dedicate manufacturing cell. You will ensure they are trained, capable, effective and feel empowered to act and make their own decisions. You will be accountable for ensuring customer commitments are met in full, measured against agreed HS&E, quality, cost, delivery, people and responsiveness standards. Responsibilities: You will be responsible for driving a culture of Zero Harm, driving environmental targets and promoting wellbeing. You will also ensure work is carried out in compliance with engineering specifications and promote a product safety culture as well as striving to deliver Zero Defects. Your areas of responsibility will include: Cost: develop and manage agreed people budget (headcount, productivity, absenteeism). Delivery: deliver our products and services to customer commitments on time. People: optimise the capability and capacity of the cell by developing a flexible, motivated and well-trained team. Lean: ensure that all relevant Production System minimum standards are fully deployed and sustained within the business and coach the team to fully participate in continuous improvement. Assets: optimise the performance of manufacturing assets to maximise the productivity and meet the current and future customer demand.
