Our London studio includes the creative agencies Event and MET Studio and project and cost management consultancy DPM and is home to our multidisciplinary team dedicated to advising, conceptualising, designing and building museums and cultural experiences.
As we continue to develop and strengthen our studio, we are looking for a persuasive and engaging Senior Bid Writer with significant experience in the exhibition design industry, to bring energy, creativity, and strategic thinking to our New Business and Marketing teams.

The Role
Working alongside our Senior Bid Manager and Bid Assistant, you’ll craft compelling, high-quality bids that help us secure world-class cultural projects. You’ll also support the Associate Director (Comms) in producing engaging written content including across social media, website, portfolio content and awards submissions that reflects our studio’s vision, voice, and creativity.
This is an exciting opportunity for a storyteller with a sharp, analytical and commercial mind, who can translate ideas into winning proposals and persuasive content that resonates with our clients and partners. You’ll also help gather evidence of our projects' effectiveness and impact, to bolster bids and marketing copy.
Responsibilities
Bid Writing & Proposal Development
* Develop engaging, persuasive, and visually compelling bid responses for RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and SQs (Supplier Qualifications) and ITT (Invitations To Tender).
* Work with Designers, Content Developers, Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors to transform complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives.
* Ensure proposals align with client requirements, deadlines, and industry best practices.
* Review, edit, and refine content to elevate clarity, impact, storytelling and value propositions.
* Work with our Graphic Designers to visualise aspects of our proposals, translating intricate processes into well-structured graphics that enhance clarity, improve reader engagement, and strengthen the overall impact of bid submissions.
* Work closely with the Bid Assistant and Senior Bid Manager to manage the bid library, creating and curating high-quality, reusable content.
* Participate in the debriefing process for lost proposals, extracting insights to strengthen future responses.
Bid Coordination & Process Management
* Support the Senior Bid Manager in prioritising live opportunities.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely, high-quality submissions.
* Ensure all bids are on-brand, beautifully designed, and well-crafted.
Marketing & Communications Content (in collaboration with Associate Director (Comms))
* Craft engaging, thought-provoking content for our website, social media, press releases, newsletters, case studies and awards submissions/ conference proposals.
* Ensure descriptions of our most innovative projects are delivered in inspiring and exciting ways.
* Support the production of brochures, pitch decks, and promotional materials.
* Maintain consistency in our tone of voice and brand messaging across all communications.
* Generate engaging content that champions our expertise, people, and creative culture.
* Interview subject matter expert colleagues and produce thought leadership content.
Research & Market Insights
* In collaboration with the Senior Bid Manager, Director of Business Development and wider new business team, stay ahead of industry trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities.
* Support the Director of Business Development and Co MD (Head of Creative Services) in identifying and shaping new business opportunities.
* Ensure all bid and marketing content aligns with global procurement requirements and industry best practices.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in humanities
* 5 - 10 years of experience in bid writing, proposal development, and marketing content creation.
* Past experience in a comparable company is a strong positive.
* Strong understanding of the bid process and best practices for winning design and consultancy work in the museums, cultural and visitor attraction sectors.
* Proven track record of managing complex proposals and meeting deadlines.
* Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a creative edge.
* Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational skills to juggle multiple projects.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment.
* Excellent Written Communication to create compelling and persuasive content.
* Technical Writing skills to articulate complex design and project concepts.
* Time Management to balance bid deadlines and marketing priorities effectively.
* Project Management skills to oversee deadlines and workflow.
* Expertise in transforming complex tender methodologies into intuitive, visually compelling infographics that enhance understanding, engagement, and the persuasiveness of bid submissions.
* Adobe InDesign for bid layout and presentation.
* Advanced Microsoft Word for proposal structuring and formatting.
* Content Management Systems (CMS) for bid library and marketing materials.
* Proposal Automation Software experience to enhance efficiency.
