Arrange the weekly MDT meeting; ensure appropriate venue and equipment available. Collate, produce and disseminate the MDT list of patients for discussion in collaboration with the Clinical Team to include all appropriate new and historic cases. To work closely with clinicians, specialist nurses, secretaries and all members of the Multi Disciplinary Team (MDT) and associated departments to ensure that patients on a cancer pathway are actively managed through the patient pathway. In the absence of the Patient Pathway Coordinator, co-ordinate the patient journey from referral, through diagnostics, treatment planning and treatment, highlighting any potential delays in the pathway and ensuring accurate data collection to support the process. In response to Government Network / Local strategy initiate change within services in collaboration with the Cancer manager and Clinical lead.
