Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapist to work at Olympic Lodge providing assessment, acute rehabilitation and timely discharge for patients transferred from the acute hospitals. Main duties of the job This is a multi skilled post requiring experience in acute medical or orthopaedic discharge planning, neurology, amputees, falls and other pathologies. You will be supported by acute therapists and work jointly with the patients, physiotherapists, nurses and community teams both on the unit and sometimes the client's home to enable the clients to be discharged. We also work at weekends at Stoke Mandeville or Wycombe Hospital. This post is part of a very friendly, supportive and dynamic Therapy department with integrated individual supervision, appraisal, CPD and in-service training.
