What You Will Do:
5. 1. Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of customer service representatives, providing guidance and support to foster a positive and productive work environment.
6. Oversees assigned customer service operations to ensure that customer claims and complaints are handled fairly and effectively. Understands sales initiatives, products, and distribution methods of division(s) supported.
7. Identify, lead and deliver cross departmental people engagement initiatives
8. Set objectives and goals for area of responsibility and monitor performance daily
9. Prioritisation of resources to meet customer and business needs in a constantly changing service-based organisation
10. Own and oversee day to day performance of multiple teams with a diverse set of processes
11. Work collaboratively to solve customer and business problems at multiple levels
12. Independent delivery of operational change as well as day to day tactical improvements
13. Work with the Head of Customer Service to define and deliver strategic initiatives
14. The role's core hours are between 8-6 Monday to Friday, but once a 7 week rotational basis you will be required to cover the on-call escalating manager
Candidate Requirements
15. Experience of people leadership and performance management techniques
16. Solid background of being able to identify and deliver process change and improvements
17. Sets high standards and able to measure team and self-performance vs targets
18. Passionate about customer service showing ownership at all times
19. Able to deal with time critical issues calmly through to resolution
20. Excellent written and verbal communication skills aimed at individual contributor through to senior management level
21. Highly organised and structured approach
