Based in Aberdeen you will be responsible for adopting a positive and proactive approach to managing all aspects of stock control, the online Ebuy platform and client contracts. Qualifications Previous Stock Control Experience 1 years Previous Procurement Experience 2 years MRO Product Knowledge Proficient in the use of IT systems, including Excel, Crystal Reports, Dynamics GP and management databases General Duties: Stock Control Seek new suppliers to enhance supply chain Negotiate costs and payment terms with suppliers Always maintain adequate stock levels and clear any back orders promptly Ensure min/max levels are adjusted Participate and coordinate regular stock checks to ensure accuracy of stock item lists and value Record and rectify any irregularities regarding deliveries with suppliers immediately Resolve stock-related queries raised by internal staff or external customers promptly and professionally Ebuy Online Set up client pages and logins, including approval workflows if required Ensure all catalogue information is current and reliable (description, price, lead-time, image, etc.) for both main and customer-specific catalogues Liaise with suppliers to arrange competitive and held pricing Seek new suppliers for additional catalogue products Monitor expediting pages within Ebuy and assist clients with order processing when required Procurement Process Achieve targets using gainshare/baseline models and negotiate discounts to achieve additional profit Ensure pre-qualification questionnaires are completed for new suppliers Ensure the procurement process aligns with company QHSE standards, policies, and procedures Resolve internal and external queries promptly Provide customs paperwork in a timely manner Search and utilize client surplus stock for RFQs Offer eco-friendly alternative products to customers Ensure monthly customer feedback to maintain high levels of satisfaction Assist with tender pricing as required to ensure market competitiveness Keep systems up to date Financial Control Assist the credit controller in resolving client and supplier invoice queries promptly Customer Focus Hold full knowledge of clients’ business and contract objectives Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, attending marketing and client meetings Manage client complaints and resolve issues before escalation Use of Computer-Based Systems Promote competent knowledge of distribution and reporting systems Participate in the continuous improvement of CI’s e-commerce platforms and demonstrate their full capacity to clients Apply now by calling Kenna at TEXO Recruitment on 01224 446789 / 07826989541 and email your CV to kenna.kirkwoodtexorecruitment.co.uk
