Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Training Professional to support our growing engineering population. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Electrical Engineering/Software and a proven track record of coaching and mentoring learners.
Main Activities
* Develop and lead engineering training programs across all disciplines, working closely with Learning and Development Manager and engineering leads.
* Advise on technical training interventions, ensure appropriate providers and delivery methods, and work with Engineering Managers to refresh and upskill their populations.
* Create positive learning environments by engaging with learners and balancing aspirations with reality.
Responsibilities - Apprentices
* Support the Learning and Development Manager in leading the Apprenticeship scheme, ensuring formal and informal support for circa 60+ apprentices throughout their education journey.
* Attend tripartite reviews, communicate effectively between Education Providers Lead, Learner, Mentor, and Business Directors, and understand planned curriculum for learners.
* Work with Engineering Managers to identify suitable project work, lead mentor network, and develop technical environments for hands-on learning.
Essential Requirements
* Experience as an Electrical Control Systems Engineer or delivering Electrical Engineering courses.
* Ability to Coach and Mentor learners.
* Able to communicate effectively at all levels, written and oral.
* Appropriate qualification in an Electrical/Electronic/control system/software Engineering related field.
