Description/Job Summary Under the general direction of the Senior Recruitment Manager, the Recruitment Assistant will assist with the day to day running of all legal and business services recruiting activities for the firm’s London office, including the full lateral recruitment cycle, the London Summer Associate Program and candidate outreach/graduate recruitment efforts. The Recruitment Assistant will offer support to the rest of the recruitment team. Responsibilities/Duties Recruitment Liaise with Partners, Associates, Secretaries and Line Managers to arrange interviews and greet candidates; Book meeting rooms; Log and track relevant candidate information using the recruitment database and applicant tracking system (All Hires) and ensure candidate records are complete and accurate in line with data protection best practice; Assist with the advertisement of new roles; Assist with the full recruitment cycle from first stage interview through to selection and onboarding; Respond to candidate enquiries; Request references and pre-screening/background checks; Assist with the London summer associate and new joiner housing, relocation and travel arrangements; and Work with the wider HR team to ensure seamless onboarding and integration of all new London hires. Send weekly updates to hiring managers for business service roles Other General Duties General administration for the Recruitment team; Receive and track invoices and arrange payments relating to recruitment agency fees, external immigration counsel fees and other departmental expenses; Ad-hoc projects; and Other duties and obligations commensurate with the role Keep all recruitment trackers updated Required Skills Knowledge of the UK legal market; Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently; Excellent attention to detail; Excellent organisational skills; Ability to prioritise and meet/manage deadlines; Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Personable and confident, able to build relationships with partners / key stakeholders; Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint; Capable of working within a high-charged, fast-paced environment; and Available to work additional hours where necessary. Preferred Skills Minimum of 6 months legal recruitment experience gained at a top tier professional services firm or reputable recruitment agency (ideally in the City).
