Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Talking Therapies Waltham Forest Improving Access to Psychological Service for an experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join the management team.

The post holder will be expected to support their team, department and organisation to achieve the Trust's Values in their day to day work. These are the 5Ps:

The successful applicant would be required to stay in the role for a minimum of 6 months.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will achieve this by:
1. Offering evidence-based practice in facilitated self-help, individually by phone and face-to-face and in groups, and will develop, support and train innovative practice to trainee IAPT psychological well-being practitioners (PWPs), to other workers qualified to act in PWP roles and to Primary Care colleagues.
2. There is a significant case management, line management and clinical supervision component to the post.
3. The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and may be called upon to work in various community settings.
4. The post holder will line manage trainee low intensity workers and IAPT PWPs under the direction of the Waltham Forest Talking Therapies IAPT Senior Team.
5. The post holder will hold an accredited Post Graduate Certificate, Diploma or accredited Top Up Certificate in Low Intensity CBT based interventions.
