About the role:
This KS1 Teacher role is part-time, offering a flexible 3-day-per-week schedule with a competitive daily rate of £160-£210. The position has become available due to a team expansion, reflecting the school’s commitment to maintaining small class sizes and personalised learning experiences. You’ll be stepping into a well-supported KS1 class of 20 students who are enthusiastic, curious, and eager to learn. Application Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience in primary or KS1 teaching.
• A deep understanding of the KS1 curriculum, with the ability to engage young learners through creative lesson planning.
• Strong classroom management skills, empathy, and a passion for nurturing young minds.
• Experience or willingness to work with SEN students and adapt teaching styles to diverse learning needs.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with both children and their families, as well as a collaborative approach to engage with fellow teachers and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum.
• Foster a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student growth and curiosity.
• Use assessments to track student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
• Coordinate with SEN staff to ensure effective learning strategies for all students.
