Job Description
1. To coordinate information and monitor trends for service performance; identify areas of service for review and improvement to facilitate the continuous improvement of Health and Social Care Moray services; and to support quality improvement approaches, developing performance outcomes and measures, and service planning. development arrangements.
2. To support the strategic development of Health and Social Care Moray within the context of integrated service delivery.
3. To deliver performance information and interpretation on organisational performance at various levels throughout the organisation including the delivery of performance information to the Moray Integration Joint Board
Responsibilities
4. To support and influence the operational effectiveness of performance and quality management arrangements leading to improvements in the quality and outcomes for Health and Social Care Moray.
5. To support and influence improvements in performance for the operational effectiveness for Health and Social Care Moray development and inspection arrangements.
6. To support the strategic planning of Health and Social Care Moray in the context of integrated service delivery
The Individual
7. Significant demonstrable experience in a senior information management role.
8. Experience in the provision, development and delivery of performance reports.
9. Experience of working in a performance and project discipline
10. Experience in a multi-agency environment
11. Experience in supporting an organisations strategic planning function
12. Educated to degree level or equivalent experience along with additional specialist training and experience.
13. Evidence of continuing professional development
14. Commitment to quality and understanding of performance management issues
15. Effective organisational and time management skills
16. Effective written and oral communication skills and the ability to present information at all levels within the organisation
17. Self- confident and self- motivated
18. Data preparation for business intelligence; business objects; expert in standard IT packages (specifically Excel functionality)
19. Large dataset information extraction, collation & cleansing; application of relevant statistical approaches; identification of data patterns; predictive modelling; analysis & interpretation skills to produce conclusions and recommendations
20. Sharing & teaching skills in information management & systems development; written & oral communication skills to effectively present complex and sensitive data.
