About the Service
Saltcoats 2 Supported Livinga vibrant and rewarding place to work where no two days are the same! We’re a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional, person-centred support to two individuals with additional support needs and dual sensory impairments.
At our Saltcoats service, we don’t just provide carewe empower people to live life to the fullest. Our approach is all about meaningful communication, tailored support, and engaging activities that bring joy and independence to those we support.
We support two men who each have their own tenancy in Saltcoats. With 24/7 support, our goal is to ensure they live safely, comfortably, and with a high quality of lifehelping them achieve personal milestones and enjoy every day to the fullest.
As part of our team, you’ll work 1:1 with them, supporting their daily routines and encouraging them to explore their interests both at home and in the community. Relationship-building is at the heart of this role, helping to create trust and a sense of security while supporting with:
Daily living Personal care, meal preparation, medication, household tasks, budgeting, and companionship
Engaging activities Encouraging hobbies, social outings, and community involvement
Collaboration Working closely with families and professionals to provide the best possible support
Promoting independence Empowering individuals to make choices and live life on their terms
Keeping records Maintaining accurate notes and updates to ensure consistent, high-quality support
The two gentlemen we support are sociable, fun-loving, and always up for a new adventure! They enjoy walks, shopping trips, and staying connected with family and friends. One of them is a huge Marvel fan and eagerly awaits Comic Con every year, while both love planning exciting day trips and holidays. Laughter, meaningful connections, and shared experiences are at the heart of what we do!

What’s the shift pattern?
Saltcoats 2 operates 24/7, 365 days a year, including public holidays. Shifts are 8:00am 10:00pm (12 hours), with staff rotas issued monthly.
