Policy and Compliance: Provide guidance on HR policies, employment law, and best practices to ensure compliance and consistency across all people-related activities. Leadership and Development: Support the leadership team to build management capability through regular engagement, coaching, and tailored development initiatives. The duties listed above are by no means definitive or exhaustive To be successful in this role, you will need: Essential Experience of coaching and guiding managers. Experience of interpreting HR policies, procedures and situations in order to identify pragmatic solutions/ recommendations. Experience of advising and supporting managers on a range of employee relations matters to an appropriate conclusion, including change management. You will champion equity and inclusion, therefore previous experience of promoting inclusive practices is essential. Experience of dealing with matters confidentially and sensitively with a good understanding of data protection regulations. Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes. Strong analytical and interpretive skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to deal tactfully with stakeholders at all levels Problem-solving attitude in a face paced environment. Desirable Knowledge of employment legislation. Being part of a leadership team. Hands-on experience using human resources information systems (HRIS) or similar automated software systems. HR qualifictions, for example CIPD level 5 (or equivalent experience), Business Administration or similar field. Working knowledge of people change management processes.
