The Logistics Assistant will be responsible for the supervision of the products and inventory in the warehouses across the UK and Europe, as well as assisting the Compliance & Logistics Department.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Movement and managing of stock from one warehouse to another within the UK and EU.
* Creating stock transfer documents in the ERP system and notifying the warehouse.
* Planning the MTS transfer based on the information from the Supply Planner.
* Processing transactions within the ERP system and maintaining up to date records.
* Monthly stock reconciliation and creating reports for expiration of shelf-life products.
* Maintaining a meticulously organized stock.
* Dealing with road transports within the EU.
* Communicating with hauliers to negotiate the transport in the most efficient and cost-effective way, and analyzing the rates.
* Coordinating and organizing dispatch activities from warehouses on time according to the confirmed planning.
* Visiting warehouses.
* Analyzing monthly stock reports.
* Yearly stock-take.
* Assisting with the import and export from and to warehouses.
* In-house training will be provided for imports/exports and sample shipments.
Skills & Requirements
* Good organizational and communication skills.
* An eye for detail.
* A valid driving license will be an advantage.
* Bachelor’s degree.
* Flexible and fast learner.
* Sense of priority and ability to work on deadlines.
* IT proficiency, particularly in the MS Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
