Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following established recipes and quality standards. Assist in the creation and development of new menu items, ensuring creativity and seasonal considerations. Work collaboratively with all kitchen staff to maintain flow during busy service periods. Ensure the highest standards of food hygiene and safety are adhered to in accordance with health and safety regulations. Monitor kitchen inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and maintain organization within kitchen storage areas. Participate in training and development activities to enhance skills and knowledge. Assist with the plating and presentation of dishes to ensure a visually appealing and high-quality final product. Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Flexibility to work across different areas of the kitchen and assist with various tasks as required. Requirements Previous experience as a chef in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred. Relevant culinary qualifications or training is an advantage. Strong passion for cooking and creativity in menu development. Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business. A proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn and develop culinary skills.
