Job Description
Location
* Hammersmith - Commercial Cat A Fit-Out, single stage D&B.
* Covent Garden - Commercial, Cut & Cave, Traditional build.
Key Responsibilities
* Report to the Surveying Director, Project Director, and Project Manager.
* Work with the Design Team to meet project specifications.
* Build and maintain relationships with Client Representatives to ensure positive engagement.
* Attend site meetings and keep the Surveying Director updated on project progress and issues.
* Review tenders and provide analysis for projects.
* Estimate and tender for projects with the Quantity Surveying team at Head Office.
* Negotiate cost-effective project terms and fixed price premiums.
* Organize and lead pre-award meetings with subcontractors alongside the Construction Team.
* Manage subcontractor purchasing and monitor site packages.
* Track contra charges and communicate with subcontractors.
* Handle subcontractor re-measurements and interim/final account payments.
* Process fortnightly/monthly subcontractor payment certificates.
* Compile and approve variation logs with the Junior Quantity Surveyor.
* Issue interim payment applications and coordinate payments.
* Prepare final accounts at project completion.
* Monitor costs using construction software and attend monthly cost reporting meetings.
* Provide monthly cash flow forecasts to accounts.
* Stay informed on industry and market changes.
* Plan and perform other tasks as assigned.
You will need:
* Degree in Quantity Surveying.
* Minimum 5 years' experience with a proven track record in managing Subcontractors, Clients, Valuations, Variations, and cost reporting.
* Strong knowledge of specifications, bills of quantities, and drawings.
* Skilled in extracting quantities and requesting accurate quotes from subcontractors/suppliers.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and Quantity Surveying software.
* Proven experience with Commercial/Residential Projects.
* Strong budget management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain detailed reports.
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
* Ability to work independently and stay focused on priorities.

* Team player with the ability to collaborate with diverse individuals.
Salary:
* Between £75,000 and £100,000 package.
