Bristol based accountancy firm are looking to take on an accounts assistant/bookkeeper for a full-time role to assist the senior accountants and to provide general admin. This will be an office based role for the first 6 months but after that a hybrid arrangement can be considered. Training via an AAT apprenticeship scheme can be provided if desired.
Role involves:
·Assist in preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
·Preparing bookkeeping and VAT returns from client records.
·Assisting with the preparation of CIS and payroll reports.
·General admin as required
Required skills
·Demonstrable interest in accountancy
·Prior experience as an accounts assistant or bookkeeping desirable
·Excellent maths skills, organisation and attention to detail
