The Role
Realise are recruiting Early Years Trainers or Trainees, covering learners in the Manchester region.
Your focus will be to support learners to reach their goals through their Early Years Level 2, 3 or 5 apprenticeships or Adult Learning short courses. As the first point of contact for your learners you will provide the support they need to flourish through their learning journey with Realise.
Your training will consist of:
- Close shadowing with a mentor, who has a great deal of experience of training in the further education sector.
- Being enrolled into our internal training academy, to learn 'The Realise Way.'
- Enrolment onto the teaching and/or assessing qualification, which you may be outstanding.
Whilst we can’t promise that every daywill be the same, your key responsibilities are likely to be:
- Supporting a caseload of 45 learners across your region, face to face andremotely
- Delivering a range of award-winningqualifications
- Creating appropriate solutions foryour learners to ensure that they have the best experience possible and developtheir interests and career
- Utilising our e-portfolio system toeffectively manage the learner journey
We also welcome applications from those wanting full-time (5 days a week) and part-time hours. (4 days in the week)
The Salary
- If you are a Trainee or qualified Trainer that can deliver Level 3 - £27,500
- If you are qualified Trainer and can deliver Level 5 - £28,500
- You can also earn up to £160 bonus for each learner you refer!

About You
- A Level 3 qualification in EarlyYears, or equivalent is essential
- Significant occupational competencyin an Early Years setting
- An assessing qualification (e.g.,TAQA/A1/D32/33,CAVA) would be advantageous
- A teaching qualification (e.g., AET,PTLLS) would be advantageous
- Experience in building and managingyour own caseload.
- Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills
- IT competent with working knowledgeof Microsoft Office

- Our interview process is tailored to each role and can be in-person or held remotely.
- You can expect a two-stage interview process for this position, which will compromise of: a 30 minute phone call with the Line Manager to discuss the position, and a one-hour formal interview, likely on Teams, where we will ask you to prepare and deliver a short microteach, shortly followed by competency and behavioural questions.
