Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker – EBD Children's Service\nLocation: Wembley\nSalary: £15.70 per hour (40 hours per week) + Sleep-ins paid at £70.50 per night\nAre you passionate about supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD)? Do you have leadership skills and experience working in a residential children's setting? Our client is looking for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join their dedicated team in a 2-bedded EBD children's service in Wembley.\nKey Responsibilities:\n * Lead and support a team of care staff, ensuring high standards of care for the children and young people.\n * Work closely with the management team to implement care plans and ensure that the service meets the needs of each child.\n * Take an active role in the day-to-day running of the home, including hands-on care and support.\n * Ensure that the service complies with all regulatory requirements, including Ofsted standards.\n * Be responsible for safeguarding, risk management, and ensuring the safety and well-being of the young people in your care.\n * Mentor and guide staff, providing support and supervision to ensure a motivated and skilled team.\nShift Pattern:\n * The role involves working early shifts, late shifts, long days, and sleep-ins to meet the needs of the service.\n * Sleep-ins are paid at £70.50 per night.\n * Shifts will be given 1 month in advance\nRequirements:\n * Experience working with children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).\n * Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent.\n * Leadership experience in a residential setting is highly desirable.\n * Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.\n * Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.\n * A genuine commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable children.\n * Full UK driving license\nBenefits:\n * Competitive pay at £15.70 per hour plus additional sleep-in payments.\n * A supportive working environment with opportunities for professional development.\n * Ongoing training and the chance to make a real difference in the lives of children who need it most.\n * Career progression opportunities within the organisation.\nIf you're an experienced and compassionate professional with a passion for supporting vulnerable children, we would love to hear from you.
