Permanent position
Salary: £28,600 to £31,500
Location: Based in the Walsall area
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Role Overview:
First point of call to employees and managers for all HR related queries, managing all employee documentation to contribute to the smooth running of the business.
Duties of a Human Resources Advisor:
1. Assisting with implementing and enforcing HR policies and procedures, including communicating these to department managers.
2. Keeping up to date with HR laws to maintain compliance within the department.
3. Maintaining accurate and up to date employee records and files, ensuring employee documents are valid and current.
4. Playing an active role in the recruitment process, including job posting, conducting telephone interviews, and communicating job offers.
5. Commencing onboarding process for new starters, preparing offer letters, conducting inductions, and ensuring all relevant documentation is in place.
6. Conducting data analysis and reporting on HR metrics such as turnover rates, absenteeism, and employee satisfaction levels.
7. Providing general administration tasks on HR software to assist in the smooth running of the department.
8. Providing support to staff on all Human Resource issues and encouraging staff well-being in all departments.
Experience Required:
1. Previous HR experience is an advantage.
2. Ideally CIPD Level 3.
3. Good administration and communication skills.
4. Team player.
5. Previous Human Resources and Personnel experience is an advantage.
