A luxury lodge resort set in the grounds of Chester Zoo is opening in 2025 and we are seeking a Sales Manager to join the team. The hotel combines world-class amenities with a unique sense of adventure and tranquillity. As we prepare for our grand opening, we are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our team and help shape the future of the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to build pre-opening awareness and drive bookings across leisure, corporate, and group segments.
* Conduct competitive market analysis to identify business opportunities and optimise revenue generation.
* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry stakeholders, and local businesses.
* Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and other networking opportunities.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling promotions, packages, and advertising that align with our brand.
* Prepare sales forecasts, performance metrics, and regular reports for senior management.
* Work closely with other departments, including revenue management, front office, and F&B, to ensure a seamless guest experience from inquiry to departure.
Role Requirements:
* Previous experience in the hospitality industry as a Sales Manager or similar role.
* Great leadership skills with the ability to inspire others.
* An ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
* Pre-opening experience.
