1st Executive is seeking an Indirect Sourcing and Supplier Manager on behalf of a high-profile organisation transforming its internal business model through corporate modernisation. Role Overview:
As the Indirect Sourcing and Supplier Manager working with the Head of Procurement, you will be responsible for delivering the Procurement strategy, ensuring the business develops strategic alignment and partnerships with suppliers to drive innovation opportunities and early insights for general indirects, Operations, and mobile applications. You will oversee key commercial, contractual, and performance aspects of external supplier agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead commercial and complex sourcing strategy for the Indirect category, including opportunity and risk identification.
2. Negotiate with key Indirect suppliers and lead regular supplier business reviews.
3. Implement projects to support savings delivery and risk mitigation.
4. Engage senior-level stakeholders, building and maintaining strategic relationships across the Indirects business partnering.
5. Take ownership of key contract financials.
6. Manage large-scale multi-million Indirect Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) activities.
7. Support Head of Category Procurement members in developing and implementing a Strategic Spend.
Experience Required:
1. Experience in Indirect procurement full life cycle sourcing and category management, including in-life contract management.
2. Familiarity with negotiating and driving value from Tier 1 suppliers and strong Supplier Relationship Management experience (SRM).
3. Strong commercial experience with the ability to influence decision-making at the managerial level.
4. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with proven ability to engage and influence at all levels, including C-suite stakeholders.
5. Experience working in a regulated industry sector is preferred.
6. Degree qualified.
