We proudly employ over 4000+ people - no matter what your experience, we have jobs for everyone.\n\nWe'd like you to join us as a Staff Nurse within our newly opening Neurobehavioral unit at our Nottingham Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre in Nottingham.\n\nAt Nottingham Brain Injury Rehabilitation and Neurological Care Centre, we offer rehabilitation, care and support to people with a brain injury or other neurological condition.\nWe're committed to helping every person we support feel safe, happy, empowered enabling them to live the best life possible.\n\nWe provide a psychology led multi-disciplinary treatment model to deliver a high quality, specialist service for people who have a neuro disability or acquired brain injury.\n\nExperience and/or knowledge in Positive Behavioral Support' advantageous\n Experience in Neurorehabilitation advantageous\n\nWhat you'll be working:\n\nWe're flexible, so you'll work a total 38.5 hours per week, days & nights on a rota basis. \n\nWhat you'll be doing:\n\nTo be an active participant in the multidisciplinary team, formulating care plans and utilizing appropriate assessments.\n\nTo give care and support to individuals, with physical and cognitive impairments as a result of brain injury or other progressive neurological condition.
\n\nTo administer medicine within the guidelines and framework of the Nursing and Midwifery Council.\n\nTo liaise effectively with all actively involved in the care process, including carers and relatives, aspiring to provide an effective, seamless and integrated service to patients/residents.\n\nTo maintain and update relevant knowledge and skills; maintain a professional portfolio and participate in further training as appropriate, in order to enhance quality of care for patients/residents and carers.\n\nTo comply with the Active Care Group Health and Safety Policies and Protocols in order to contribute to safe working practices.\n\nDevelopment, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care including discharge planning for each patient.\n\nTo adopt a flexible approach to hours of duty, in order to meet the needs of the service over a 24 hour period.\n\nTo maintain standards of cleanliness and hygiene, in line with Infection Prevention Control guidance within the clinical environment minimising the risk of cross infection.\n\nWorking autonomously with confidence and competence to provide a highly specialised and safe service to the patient.\n\nWhat you'll have:\n\n A current NMC Pin registration \n A legal right to work in the U.K.\n Experience and/or knowledge in Positive Behavioral Support' advantageous\n Experience in Neurorehabilitation advantageous\n\nWe also want to ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable facilities to participate in job applications or interviews to perform essential job functions.
