Afternoon Activities Coordinator
Looking for an opportunity to make a big difference to someone's day to day?
Our friendly team are looking for an Activities Coordinator to join them at The Willows Nursing and Residential Home, as they deliver a programme of activities for the residents.
With your natural ability to build relationships, you’ll enjoy engaging with our residents as you help them to create moments that matter.
You already know that the little things are important. We’d love you to use that knowledge, and your enthusiasm for making a difference, as you encourage our residents to take part in the activities on offer.
The post holder will plan and implement activities appropriate to Clients’ needs and requests.
We would welcome you to encourage other staff members, relatives and friends to participate in all activities on offer at the Willows.
Promote dignity, independence, respect, rights and choices always.
Organise and facilitate activities for service users in groups and on an individual basis, as required.
Liaise with the Home Manager for the provision of equipment.
Be responsible for organising special events/celebrations e.g., birthdays, anniversaries, Easter, Christmas etc.
Be responsible for the correct use and storage of equipment and for its safe custody.
Benefits
£11.45 per hour - 20 hours per week. Company Pension scheme.
