Area Sales Manager
The Role: Due to a recent internal promotion, a new Area Sales Manager role has arrived working for a well-established business who have fairly recently become part of a global market-leading manufacturer of security & ironmongery products. As an Area Sales Manager you will be managing a number of direct accounts across the North East & Yorkshire region. You will be building relationships with window & door fabricators as well as a small set of distribution accounts such as Ironmongers. This is an account development focussed position where relationship building is key and making sure the client comes first. 70% of your time will be doing this on a pro-active basis, increasing wallet-share and developing the account potential on a daily basis. Typically you will be averaging 16-20 effective client visits per week. You will have internal sales support as well as inbound leads coming your way from the revamped website and usage of online demos & product launches. This Area Sales Manager positions is an excellent role for someone who has experience with such customers and sales processes in the field.

Salary: £43,000-52,000 DOE + £12k OTE potential + car allowance of £6,125 p/a + pension + 25 days holiday + laptop/mobile
We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
6. B2B field sales experience selling a product direct to end customers
7. A strong appreciation of onboarding and managing customers
8. Based in Yorkshire or the North East
9. A relationship builder & Account Management experience
10. A team player who shares their company values
11. Clean driving licence
